Starting at 3:45 p.m., no open house traffic will be allowed through any gate.
Hello Anchorage! Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson’s Arctic Thunder Open House & Airshow opening ceremonies will begin shortly.
In 15 minutes, the 5 mile temporary flight restriction (TFR) and aerobatic box will be active around JBER. Access to northern Elmendorf proper will be restricted.
As a reminder to our valued guests, limited free water options are available during the event. Please bring your own water or purchase it from one of the many vendors at the event.
