UPDATESWith only a handful of days to go until the gates of Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson open for the start of Arctic Thunder Open House 2022, we can hardly contain our excitement. We hope you are planning to spend your weekend with us where there is something for everyone. If you enjoy live music, we have two bands. If you enjoy high-performance jets and gravity defying aerobatic performances, we have that too. For this writer, it is all about the Frito pies, tacos, and tamales. You will likely find me cozying up unabashedly to the 773 LRS Booster Club, King Rescue Company, and Serranos LLC booths sampling all their fare.
As a reminder, both the Richardson and Boniface gates will be open to the public from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. After 4:30 p.m., no Arctic Thunder Open House traffic will be allowed through these gates.
Finally, please check the entry restrictions where all permitted items allowed onto the installation and into the event are listed on the Approved Items list.
