UPDATESIn the spirit of military service, Arctic Thunder Open House is an event hosted by Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson to give back to the local community. We open our doors every other year and share our unique life and culture with a community who contributes so much to our ability to engage globally and protect locally.
Last year, Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson hosted 325,000 guests along with 41 aircraft displays, 19 ground military displays, and an amazing 96 food and novelty booths. Additionally there was an amazing 6 hours of live military and civilian aerial demonstration flights and Joint Force demonstrations.
