T-Minus 6 Days & Counting – ATOH 2018 STEM Focus

As we count down the remaining days until Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson opens it gates, let’s talk about a new addition to Arctic Thunder Open House.  For 2018, Science Technology Engineering and Math (STEM) will be out in force.  Two full hangars will be devoted to STEM where children of all ages will have an opportunity to speak with military professionals and interact with an array of STEM focused equipment.  From Hydraulic & Robotic Arms to Magnetic Field Slime there is something for everyone.  A great opportunity for our children to learn and be inspired.  Additional STEM focused technologies include mini-Tesla Coils, a Color Coded Human Torso, and an Airfoil Tunnel.

In the coming days, please review the Admissions Information page and Entry Restrictions page for details as you prepare to visit us for Arctic Thunder Open House 2018.  Please consider bringing water, sunscreen, and hearing protection to the event especially if you have children.
